Default J/B 1.1.4 shows 1.1.3

My jailbroken 1.1.4 shows as a 1.1.3 on the phone and on itunes. I just restored to 1.1.4 and will rejailbreak and see whats up.

does anyone elses j/b 1.1.4 show as 1.1.3 in itunes or on the phone (go to settings---->general---->about---->version)???!?!!!

Edit... Ok now I'm j/b and the phone says 1.1.4. All I can think is that app that allows 1.1.3 apps on 1.1.4 might have messed it up...

Or maybe I was drunk and just THOUGHT I upgraded..

If theres an app/tweak to let you install 113 apps, its probably altering the plist that says which firmware you're on. U would suspect uninstalling that mod or running the app again would restore the 114 settings.

yes.

that app changes a string in the System/CoreServices/FirmwareVersion.plist

its that easy to do, just open in a txt editor, and find and replace 1.1.4 to 1.1.3

that's what happened. I re did it all again and had in fact been on 1.1.4. Alls well now. This is by far the best firmware for is modders.

That app you used is supposed to do that since the Installer packages check for the version so they edited the .plist for you.

Thanks, I'm going to add this to my own Installer Source now that I know what to do. Props to the guy who figured it out, I just don't want to have to refresh his source from EDGE all the time, I like to run a lean source list.
