I have a new 3GS that I don't want to jailbreak. I still have my old 3G. Since it is not activated, would it be worth it to Jailbreak it, and if so why?
I hate for it to just sit in the drawer, but I don't know enough about Jailbreaking to determine whether it would even be worth the hassle. Any advice would be appreciated.
You could jailbreak and unlock the old 3G and sell it on eBay for a pretty good price...
And you should just jailbreak because its good for your iPhone![]()

If you don't need the money, I recommend keeping it as a back up and jailbreaking it. Jailbreaking it will activate it and then you can check out all the latest Cydia apps. You can use Skype or unlock it and get some prepaid minutes with T-Mobile.

Thanks for the advice. It is much appreciated.
