iTunes keeps trying to reboot iPhone?

OK, I had problems jailbreaking my husbands iPhone with his computer (Vista)...it locked up on the reboot screen all night, so I moved it to my computer (XP) and it was all fixed (re-jailbroke on my computer)...now every time he plugs his phone into his computer it keeps telling him to restore the phone from his back ups! Why is it doing that? Mine isnt' doing that when I plug into my computer!

make sure he has the newest version of itunes installed.

we figured it out. He had to set up his phone as a new phone and then it was good. Thanks though!
