is there an app to take pictures off safari and straight onto iphone??

None that I know of. A possible workaround at this time is to use one of the several screencapture methods, but then you get the whole screen, not just the picture you want.

i remember a while ago some post about a method that would save pics in safari to your camera roll. do a search for it and you will probably find something.

I was thinking of that one too - but think it saves images on a Safari page, rather than the entire page - still can't recall its name though ...

IMGSaver? I'm gonna try it...

I can't get it to work. It installs fine, the app runs, but I didn't get a "display all images" bookmarklet, which apparently is critical.

Doh I missed a step! Hang on...

Sweet! It totally works! You just have to follow all the instructions in the "more info" tab of IMGSaver.

It's in the iSpazio repository... don't have the source url ATM, but I think that's a popular one.

Very cool app... thanks for the kick in the butt, OP, I've been wanting this for a while and didn't know it existed.

Warning: Installing the "Safari Addon Features" package will wipe out your bookmarks!

If it removes my bookmarks, couldn't I just sync with iTunes and it will reappear?
