iphonesimfree vs anysim, what's better?

I know anysim is free and iphonesimfree isn't but I bought iphonesimfree, are there any advantages of using iphonesimfree?

also, whats the best way to unlock and activate an iphone if you are gona use iphonesimfree? what I did was download idemocracy and download the 1.0.2 update they tell me to, then I boot iphone in restore mode, load the update (even tho it shows an error) then use winguiinstaller and activate the phone. then I use app trap installer to get the simfree software to my phone, then I just run it and it is unlocked. is this a correct procedure? it is working and all, I just want to make sure I didn't screw it up.

for that matter, I saw a guide online on how to update all the way to 1.1.1 and activate/unlock from scratch, this guide shows using a program called ibrick and anysim... since I don't use anysim and I didn't use ibrick.. could I skip that whole part and just get straight to the upgrading to 1.1.1 part?
