iphone skinning Q

hi guys, im new here..i thought this is hte best place to learn more about the iphone and modding it.

I wanted to know how to change the skin of the iphone ie. the huge Battery image is green.....how can i make red or something?

What software do i need? Where do i upload it to? How do i upload it?

I know this has probably been asked - maybe someone can direct me to the right place.

I agree, it's just lazyness from newer members.

It's not as if the search funtion is a new feature on forums

FYI - ive tried searching.....and come up with very little. thats why i ask. Not like im new to boards.

Hey Dude - welcome. I'll also say, searching is great, but I'll direct you too. If you check out the sticky in this topic area, you'll get pretty much all you need to know within one post. Jailbreaking has evolved a bit since then (www.jailbreakme.com), but the basics after that are the same.

Are you running on a pc or os x?
