Default Installing a custom theme manually

I recently got the 3GS, jailbroke it, and have SSH/SBSettings installed. I tried installing Winterboard but that crashes the phone and sends it into safe mode, so I uninstalled WB. What I want to do is install this custom theme I found. This is the theme I want to install on my 3GS, but I have no idea how.

This is quite a difficult option for someone with little Iphone experience. You need to SSH into the phone and replace the .png files with those in your new theme. Without winterboard installed its difficult / time consuming to switch themes.

This also should be posted in the modifications section

Yes, I would HIGHLY advise against changing themes without the use of Winterboard. When you can use Winterboard, it is as simple as dropping the theme folder in the correct location via SSH and select that folder with Winterboard. Patience...

I see... well is anyone aware of a fix coming? Also, where in SSH do I drop the theme folder?

Library > Themes > and then activate it with Winterboard.

Winterboard was fixed today. It's working fine now.
