Default Installer icon disappeared AGAIN?

Can someone tell me why the Installer icon disappears from my springboard and how do I get it back? Second time it has happen to me. The last time I ended up just restoring.

How do I get it back without connecting to the computer? I do all my modding through the phone with the exception of the jailbreak via ZiPhone.

By the way I have the Dock (sunburst in the lower right corner) and the installer icon is not on there either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and any suggestions to not let it happen again would be great as well.

Thank you

Nothing I would normally do to Install a program. It always disappears when I install a couple of programs at once and then exit of Installer, then it spins the wheel and I slide back into the springboard and Installer is gone??????

Any suggestions first to get it back without the PC and how do I stop it from happening again?

Yes, I have poof, and it shows Installer in there but no icon, also missing icons where my ebay icon and splitter icon. I have no clue why those disappeared either. All three happen at the same time. I'm not familiar with Mobile Finder?

well, the next time you get Installer back, lol, you need to download a "Finder" app. Then you can view any file on the phone and even move them to a new location. As for your problem. Is it just the ICON that is missing or is it the whole app? You said that it shows in Installer? What does it show?

I would avoid installing more than one app at a time. Definitely never cue them. I've experienced a number of issues when I do this. I install one app, exit installer, hell, reboot the phone just to be sure. Then go back and install the next. It's annoying, but it's been much more stable that way for me.

i've installed multiple apps before some even just sources, but i've never experienced anything noteworthy. The only thing i've noticed recently is that I uninstalled Customize 2.0 as it was not working correctly. but now my battery life is less than HALF of its usual capacity. not sure how they could be connected though...

Where do I find the "Finder" app? Where is it located?

Thank you
