install apps via itunes - iPhone 3G

how can i install apps downloaded through itunes , the app is listed in the applications in the itunes , how can i install it to my iphone version1.1.4 please help..

Applications downloaded from the App Store cannot run on an iPhone running the 1.1.4 firmware. You need to upgrade your iPhone to the 2.0 firmware.

No way. You have to upgrade, it's now 2.0.1. If you want the app store, I have a 3G, and there is little I want from the App store. I'll take Cydia, anyday.

Unless you can find a similar App via Installer (on 1.1.4) then there is no way to get Apps (similar to the App Store) on your phone.
