Increasing Text Inbox Message

Does this do it for anyone else or just for me. The other day I had to restore and I felt like using the iPhone on 1.1.2 normal without any 3rd party applications. I tried it for 3 days and it was ok, ran smooth but lacked what I really needed.

Anyways I am a big texter and after 2 days I had accumulated 1500+ messages on top of the messages already in the inbox. (IM forwarding accounted for many).

So my question is does removing this stay with the iPhone even if you do not restore it? I have restored 2x since that time and I still have not received a message saying my inbox is full and I have installed it once and restored 3x.

I am not complaining but I think its great and now that 1.1.3 holds 75,000 and 1.1.2 can hold more.
