Same thing happened to me, had to restore the phone. Kept all my numbers and stuff, just lost my custon tones and icons.

im getting the same problem had to restore so much for that almost seems like they patched it like they dont want us to have ringtones

There are some entries saying this mod will not work with the new version 1.0.1
Can you tell me if that is true? I just recently got my phone and it automatically got the SW update. Will this hack work with the new SW version. Don't want to put my new phone at risk. Thanks!

yeah I tried with the update also and it did not work. Had to restore. I just used iphone Ringtone Maker software.

i had to reset my iPhone after the Hold Power + Home button iTunes said it was in recovery mode and needed to be restored I lost everything

Me neither with the update. I use ringtonemaker

for my ringtones but really want to change the mail notification, and maybe some other stuff. I guess I'll sit, watch and wait.

Wsup iPhone Community? I just recently updated my iphone and also restored it. I am now trying to put a ringtone on it with jailbreak 1.1 and iPhone interface. Yesterday I booted up jailbreak and held the power and home bottons until the yellow triangle came up. For the longest time nothing happened. It just said booting iPhone. At the end it said I have to hold it longer buddy!!! haha. Today I tried again but when I hold the power and home bottons and the triangle shows up it just restarts right away. Can some please help me. I've modded it before but I don't know why it won't work now.
