How can I learn to unlock 3G for international travel?
Can anyone tell me how to unlock my 3G iPhone so it will work with any sim card I put in it? I am tired of paying someone else to unlock it. I am using 3.01 firmare. Also, do I need to jailbreak it BEFORE I unlock it or not?

Here are two tutorials (Mac and Windows) for unlocking iPhone 3G (of course in order to unlock you need it'll jailbreak it too):
