I don't believe a word of it.
It's pretty obvious that a lot of the gurus in the jailbreak community hate Zibri. I'm fine with that, but the negative buzz around ZiPhone is enough to make me use iLiberty+.

so if ziphone is SO BAD, why haven't more people had major issues with it. i mean i have read about people thinking they bricked their phone, only to be wrong and able to restore it and do it again. just seems like a lot of speculation to me. personally, i love having my iphone jailbroken and if something happened to it and i had to get a new one, so be it, thats a risk i am willing to take.

Ive had zero problems with Zibri and I have jailbreaked, unlocked, and everything many many times for myself and other people. Never one problem.

I'd believe the article if Ziphone hasn't been absolutely perfect for me 4 times on 4 different phones now.

I just read in another thread about people that were having problems with voicemail and things like that after using ZiPhone...

There's lots of ways to mess up a ziphone jailbreak. But if you do it right (which mainly involves restoring as a new device and not from a backup), it's perfect.

Later versions (>2.6) added their own BSD subsystem which apparently isn't known for its stability. So I stick with 2.5c. Again, in my experience, it's flawless.

Wow! No wonder why my girlfriend's phone has been buggy as hell ever since I used ziphone to jailbreak it. Her phone's reception has been horrible and it freezes all the time. Edge has been tripping also.

To get rid of any damages that ziphone may have done to her phone, all I need to do is restore first and then use iLiberty to jailbreak? When I restore, do I set it up as a backup or new?
