Ziphone (2.5c or 2.6) works fine all by itself if you restore as a new device before using it. You shouldn't need iLiberty.

I used Ziphone initially on my iphone. Of course it downloaded my 4.6 BL to 3.9 BL...and I've had other problems. Had to run patches and stuff to get it right.

I restored back to 1.1.4 in iTunes. Used WinPwn. Built a ispw file with ALL the applications/games I normally use.

Restored with iTunes again with the custom ipsw file. Awesome. Everything works perfectly. Oh, I'm with t-mobile.

small talk, had 0 problems using ziphone, all jailbrakeing app`s are dangerous if you think about it, had more problems using some of the app`s from bigboss`s repo and from his "hand picked" sources

Yeah, had the same problem. Than I would have to go through the whole restore, add appls, do tweaks, add videos and music again. LOVE the persona/custom ispw I created. WinPwn is awesome.
Oh, and my BL is back to 4.6.

Ive been saying this for months, Zibri stole the code and released it early without really understanding what hes doing. He took all the credit and now the dev community hates him.

He released a substandard product and people are finally starting to see it.

Yea, I've read that months ago, too bad it was after I used it.

Seems to me that there are way more people who are happy with ZiPhone that those who are not. Maybe the ones that had problems using ZiPhone are also the type of people that probably shouldn't be messing around with their phones in the first place.

I didn't have the freezing screen, grey apple of death or any of the other problems that seems to be happening. It was the download of my BL and having to do "tweaks", that erked me.

You're absolutely right. When you advised me to do that after some trouble I was having, it worked great for me and I've not had a problem since.
