Did I kill my phone?

I had a 1.0.2 iphone, unlocked with iphonesimfree and activated with wininstallergui or some program like that, I decided to upgrade to 1.1.1 so I came across this very well explained guide that went from 1.0.2 downgrade to using anysim to geting back to 1.1.1 etc...

So I already had a 1.0.2 build, with a bunch of programs and of course, installer app. I used that guide but only the part that upgrades to 1.1.1, in other words, I didn't go from scratch. so in the end it actualy did upgrade and activate my iphone with 1.1.1 and iphonesimfree works in 1.1.1 so my gsm is working great, the thing is, installer app was all screwed up.. it didn't upgrade itself because it tought the new one was installed, yet it didnt let me uninstall the new one, so i felt like removing installer app but i didnt know how... and what i did was go to WinSCP and loged in to my phone the way the guide told me to do so before when I was unlocking and I searched for a folder named applications and in there i went to the folder named installer and I just deleted it... then i turned off my iphone and on and installer is gone but I feel it was way too easy and for some reason every time i searched online for a way to uninstall it they gave some crazy complex response so I feel what I did was wrong and maybe I did something to my phone...
