Default Customize 2.0 for 2.0?

I realize that jailbreaking an iPhone doesn't seem to be a big deal. And if something goes terribly wrong, there's a 3G coming at 'half price'. But all I want to do is change sounds and maybe vibrate options.
Does anyone know if Customize 2.0 will be in the App Store when it opens?

No, not with that name anyway. Customize is a third party app for jailbroken phones only. Apple takes a dim view of changing things, unless they change them.

Thanks for the info.
I'll see what happens when 2.0 and the App Store are released. Then, I'll probably have to JB and move forward.

That is, if you can break 2.0. If you want to customize, you might be forever stuck on the current version since I don't think the SDK will let developers even modify the application partition on the phone.

Not according to BigBoss

http://sleepers.net/news/?p=141

He says Customize and Summerboard are violations of the developer's rules for SDK. Doubt you'll be seeing them on the AppStore based on that info.

So you believe that the jailbreaking will stop with 2.0. God, I certainly hope not. I would be bored to death with a stock phone, I don't care what SDK has to offer. I know they won't have anything that comes close to the themes I like to modify.

Should be interesting to see how the hackers can handle the code signing and sandboxing in 2.0.
