Change the text color on Springboard

I have many wallpapers on my iPhone - most of them are with
some white "background" - this is NO good for the text on the
Springboard!

Is there no way to change this into red, black or other colours?

if your phone is jailbroken, go to cydia and you can download
a theme to change the color of your text

Thank you guys...check out the date of my post...loooong time ago, and this 1G iPhone is out of business for me....lol

I now use a 3G without any jailbreak....yet
