cant change dock manually or with customize, need help

So i updated to the jailbroken 2.0.1 and everything works fine, only 1 problem, my dock wont change. Ive tried using customize but it just gives me a pop up saying it has encountered an error (everything else works well on customize). So i SSH into the phone and replaced the SBdockBG2 file manually, rebooted and the dock still wouldnt change. I had no problem changing the dock on 2.0 JB.

Try using Winterboard?! that would be your best bet.

Though I'm new so I have no clue how to go into the iphone to make the changes for the DOCK to show how I want it. So could someone give me a step-by-step and/or weblinks that shows me how to the SSH works and how to modify for the type docks I have installed on my iphone, enabling them to show instead of the basic theme. I already have installed Cydia, Installer, Customise, and a few themes I like. I can install everything except the backgrounds and docks won't load. I get the same error for the dock as above but for the backgrounds, it acts as if installing but when I view, its still a black background.
