Default Can you pwn 2.0.1?

I have searched with no luck, but I just upgraded to the new firmware 2.0.1 in iTunes and want to jailbreak again. Is it possible now that I have upgraded?

In a perfect world I would have no SMS lag and Cydia installer with Winterboard! Can I make it happen?

Thanks!

Yes you can update this way but after the update your phone will not longer be jailbroken and any third party applications you installed via Cydia will no longer function.

Thanks for your help dangerous. I learned this one the hard way, and am now trying to figure out how to go backwards and jailbreak again without losing all my music

no problem man, unfortunately if you want to go back to a jailbroken firmware I'm afraid you are going to lose all your music , but thats nothing a 'quick' sync can't fix. But just boot into DFU mode (hold lock and home for 10 seconds, release lock and continue holding home untill itunes recognises the phone) and then restore the phone back to the custom 2.0 ipsw via itunes.

I guess while you are on the kick of helping me you can assist me here. I have like 2000+ songs on my computer, and only want about 200 on my phone. If I restore, is there a way to put back only the songs that are on my phone now without having to sort through a large library of music?

sure thing, once you restore your phone to the jailbroken firmware itunes will ask you if you want to set it up as a new phone or restore it from a backup, if you restore it from a backup it *should* only put back the songs you had on it previously, although I am not 100% on this.

I have the same problem. Everything was great, and I foolishly updated to software version 2.0.1. Now when I try to restore with my custom2.0 Pwaned software it won't allow the restore. I keep getting an error message Unknown Error (6).

Any suggestions?
