    My 3G's silent switch is broken... and considering getting a new iPhone...
    However, I read somewhere (probably gizmodo) that the new shipment of iPhone 3GS will have prevention of JB built in.. something like that...

    would blacksn0w still JB and unlock it?

    I'm with ATT so I don't necessary need to unlock it but I def. want to JB my phone... can't live without sbsetting...

    That's great Europa! Sorry I guess I now mean WAS great!

    nobopyon, I've heard both yes and no. There is supposedly even a tethered JB that requires re-jailbreaking everytime you restart your phone. What a PITA! No way would I ever do that. So double check some of the threads here to get a more clear answer.

    I had a Cydia "issue" as well. It didn't download everything and an error message came up. After restarting Cydia, it seemed to clear itself. Blackra1n came up and asked if I wanted to update to have the ability to install Blacksn0w. YES, I did.
    Updated and resprung quite quick...
