You're welcome. I also recommend Bluff My Call, if you are into pranks that entail disguising your voice and spoofing a phone number.

Chronus? What version do you have? The version I see hasn't been updated in a year. I use pkgbackup.

I also HATE mquikdo. It seems to go against everything I like about the iPhone: ease of of use and intuitive behavior.

OTOH I can see reggae dude going nuts trying to figure out mquickdo, so there is that. Lol.

Chronus and PkgBackup each does different things. Chronus backs up non-jailbreak apps, and PkgBackup takes care of the jailbroken/Cydia apps.

mQuickDo is working fine for me now. The passcode lock was the source of all the problems I was having with it. I like it. PkgBackup is just for Cydia apps, Chronus is for Stock and App Store apps. I have it, and have some stuff backup up with it, but I haven't restored those backups yet.

I know what Chronus does, my query was about the version. The version I see on Cydia now is from December, 2008, and is for firmware 2.x.

Personally, I don't see much need to backup app store apps since iTunes does it. I do use pkgbackup combined with SBOrganizer though.

I use Chronus to back up the current state of the apps. iTunes only backs up the apps themselves.

That's right. You can either email all the backups to yourself (a real pain) or you can SSH into your iPhone (/private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/TimeCapsule) and copy them to your home computer.
