Due to the overwhelming amount of modifications found in the iPhone Software category, I've created a new category specifically for modifications, customization and hacks. Basically, it's anything outside of the norm. A few guidelines I'd ask of anyone who partakes in this discussion:

1. Apple will likely not condone modifying an iPhone and such activity may well void the warranty. Check their product information for matters pertaining to iPhone modification.
2. EverythingiPhone is not responsible in any way for problems with your iPhone as result of modifications found in this discussion category. Use at your own risk. Remember, this is a $600 phone and the consequences of customization can result in the iPhone becoming an expensive "brick".
3. It is not ok to ask for the "standard" icons or offer links to the "standard" icons. Do not in any way upload copyrighted material to this site or you will be subject to an immediate ban and the post will be removed. If you have a question, then ask a moderator BEFORE you upload anything.
4. Do notpost links to illegal file sharing sites. Everything iPhone does not advocate or condone the illegal copying of software. Posting links to "Warez" sites or serial numbers sites is forbidden, as is posting to ask for links to any of the above.
5. While the various "P2P" file sharing applications that exist are not illegal by themselves, they are often used to share copyrighted materials. Everything iPhone considers any discussion surrounding the sharing of copyrighted material to be inappropriate for our discussion forums. This also includes discussion about any sites that provide links to such material, either directly or via any file sharing technique.

If you see anyone in violation of any of the above policies, please use the report a post feature by selecting the yellow "!" icon directly below the user's avatar. Reports are kept private and will alert moderators who will properly address the situation.
