I've locked up many iPhones & have always been able to get to DFU mode & start the restore again.

It's obviously a risk you're going to have to take if you want to experience being jailbroken.

IMO, I don't think you have anything to worry about. DFU restore is almost a sure thing should you get into trouble.

True bricking is very rare. Most people misuse the work and say it's bricked when it's really just stuck at the Apple logo and putting it in DFU mode and a restore would fix the problem.

tried again, and same result, it crashed.. i turned off UAC, i ran compatibality mode.. im just not too sure its going to work. Also made sure that itunes was closed, even when into proccessor and made sure

Well, i tried again, restarted the laptop. ran it as admin, turned off uac, ran compatibility mode, and i did something that i read in another topic about moving the window (redsnow's window) up and down quickly. And it WORKED haha i'm pretty glad that it worked finally, im happing using a jailbroken phone again finally. I've always loved having it. Alright, thanks guys =)
