Ah nuts.
Restoring to 2.0.1 on my laptop right now. Had an issue where none of the apps from app store would work. Happened after running swap itunes and connecting to roomies computer. Finally just tried to get another app and it wanted their login/pass. Not mine. Then I noticed all the music was gone. No problem, resync right? Nope. Not enough room on my 16g. Only 3.x gig left.
 ssh'd my way in and waddayaknow... all the stuff is there, just not recognised by the phone. Ah well... maybe when the full release of installer 4 comes out I'll jailbreak again.  ps: No I'm not bashing Cydia. It wasn't Cydia's fault, but an app I download through Cydia.

dfu your phone, iTunes recognizes the dfu, and since 2.0.1 is out it downloaded it and replaced the phones OS with the new OS.

ok if i dfu my iphone, can i still use my SIM to my other iPhone 3g? my SIM card is currently activated with my 3g iphone and the only reason why i asked this, cuz i want to use the iphone v1 unlock when i'm at home only and use the 3g for 3G purposes and outside the city..
