vista works... just gotta run it as admin.... also when it trys to reboot sometimes it wont go so you have to do it yourself then run the jb again and it should go

ive tried running it as admin ive tried just about everything, done it like 30 times lol. My dad has XP on his laptop ill have to d/l 8.2 itunes though. Would i have better luck trying that? Just about everybody else has gotten it on vista but me .

How long did it take you guys to install cydia from freeze? It's been sitting there installing for like 15 min now.

It shouldn't really take that long. Mine only took about a min or two. If it doesn't show up when you close freeze. Reboot the phone and it'll be there.

Yeah, it would say "Finished" but the progress bar never completes. After several attempts, I just rebooted and the Cydia icon was on Springboard.

For me, it's theming. I love customization. It's the one thing that the iPhone still needs in my opinion. I'm going to try to go without it, because I don't want to loose any functionality of the 3GS, but the stock look gets boring pretty quickly.
