why don`t u use the search feature of the forum ? there are alot of threads about this, don`t start a thread before u do a search on the forum

It is very likely that the 2.0 software will be unlockable (and very likely that it has already been unlocked) but using it on a network other than AT&T may be impossible as T-Mobile's 3G network operates on a different frequency than the iPhone allows. Also, purchasing and then unlocking to resell wouldn't prove economically savvy as it did with v1 because both AT&T and Apple are going to require in store activation.
