Ok, so it's not on in my phone in the first place then, so I don't need to worry about toggling it off.

That makes sense. OpenSSH is usually one of the first apps I install after JB'ing. So I assumed it was always available via SBSettings.

Yes - Five Column Springboard and Five Icon Dock work in 3.0 installed via Cydia...

I have never head of "Five Row Springboard".
I just searched Cydia and and found no such app...

Well maybe I was getting mixed up. I know I used to have a total of 30 icons on my phone. 5 of them were the dock, and the other 25 were undocked. Will Five Column Springboard allow me to have 5x5 icons? Or only 5x4? This is what made me think there was a Five Row Springboard as well, but I couldn't remember.

5 Column SB is only 4 rows on my phone.
Could your 5x5 be from a theme?

Update: googled "five row springboard" - there were many hits,
one mentioning ’fivelrows’, but it does not appear to be in Cydia.
