Hmmm...thanks, but no thanks...I was just replying to apps not working with 3.0. BTW, I use BossPref to take care of that now.

That wasn't my screenie (it's included with zip file for that hack)...I have the iPhone.

Hey guys you are very lucky to have your Cydia Apps working.

Mine, it was awful. Cydia was working perfectly when it was still in Firmware 2.2.1 But now since I have upgraded to the OS 3 version of my 1st generation iPhone I can't download single application anymore.

I keep getting the following message below every-time I would attempt to download apps.

" /var/cache/apt/archives/grep_2.5.4-3iphoneos-armdeb "

" pre dependency problem - not installing grep "

" http://apt.saurik.com
POSIX: connection reset by peer ."

" http://ispaziorepo.com/cydia/aptmms2g.deb "

does anyone encountered the same problem above?
If so please share how you were able to fix it.

Did you set up as a new phone when you upgraded and jailbroke 3.0? If not, I would recommend doing so.

I take back what I said. Intelliscreen, while it appears to work fine, actually screws up the copy-n-paste in emails only. Here are my findings . . .

With Intelliscreen installed (the full, paid-for version), I found that I could copy-n-paste from just about everywhere (text messages, web pages, etc.). However, I could not copy-n-paste from any email messages. If I re-spring my Springboard, email copy-n-paste would work for a little while (a few hours or half a day), and then later on, it wouldn't work (while c-n-p would continue to work elsewhere). I lived with this for a week or so until I decided to try an experiment.

My experiment was to completely uninstall Intelliscreen and all its constituent files (Intellishared, Rock extensions, Rock App, etc). I did this and for a whole week, I had c-n-p working in every app that where was intended to work!

The recommendation that I support now is to move Intelliscreen off the 3.0 compatible list.
