24K Gold Iphone Bezel - Interested - iPhone 3G

Hi

This is not an ad to buy this product, but mere an enquiry as to those that would be interested so that I can decide if I should add the bezel to my list of 'Stuff that i goldplate and sell' catalogue.

If you think you would buy a 24K Gold Plated Bezel which comes with the kit to replace the bezel yourself i.e. disassembly tools and instructions for approx $139 including postage to your home then just say so.

This is real 24K gold plating, not gold paint or other look-a-like stuff.

A solid 24K bezel would cost a grand i'm sure, possibly more, so im not gonna go there.

Im sure there are tens of thousands of people that like the bezel as it is, however, like anything else in this world, there is a market for just about everything.

Perhaps you like your bling, perhaps your rich, perhaps you want to give an iphone as a gift for a loved one and want to give it that extra touch that very little others have, perhaps you want people to think your rich cause you have an iphone and its 24K Gold! Whatever your reason.

If you think you can see this product going somewhere, then leave your opinion, then again i want to hear your opinion if you think its a daft idea.

If all looks good then I will start to produce this item and give you the address where you can get it. As you guys are my test bed, I'll give the link to members of this forum before I branch out to the big bad world and maybe charge more!

i hate the look of gold on silver. I'd have to have the back a different color, possibly gold plated also.

Thanks for all your feed back so far. I would also like to remind you that as the Iphone 3G has a black or white rear casing this would eliminate the gold and silver mix. Alot of Iphone 1st Gen people like the gold and silver mix, then again alot do not. We all have different tastes.

I personally don't like the whole summerboard thing as I think its more for younger people to play about with, where as i'm happy with standard stuff. I have my opinion and you have yours.

But you do know that you asked for our opinion, right? I don't think anyone asked/cares about your opinion on Summerboard.

Why do you think I take personally. Of course not. You've clearly interpreted my comment out of context. I'm basically saying that everyone has their opinion on this topic, of which I'd like to hear.
Clearly your a summerboard user which is great for you, but my topic has nothing to do with that. Just using that as an example. Perhaps I should have said I don't like banana's but some people do and that's totally their opinion.

I just want your and others opinion on my question.

Let's just leave it at that.

I don't dig it. I am not really into gold, however, I think it may appeal to the ladies (not that guys cannot have gold iPhones). As was said above, if you make a prototype and take a number of high quality images, then it would be much easier to tell if it is beuno or not. I imagine that PS does not quite do your work justice.

Hi and thankyou for your comment. Your absolutely right and I will take some photo's. My camera is not great as the quality is blurred when you get close to the iphone, but i will post the best i get. You really can't do it justice till you have it glaring infront of you, but a pic will have to do.

Note the prices! The plating is real 24K gold. Some like it, some love it, some don't mind it, some hate it, lifes full of choices.
