For whatever its worth, this happened to my non jailbroken phone today after I restored it (it was jb'd prior to the restore).

I'm restoring it now as a new phone to see where that gets me.

First problem I've had with a legit firmware, that's for sure.

I'm having the same issue with my non-jailbroken phone. New restore works great for awhile - then the mail keeps crashing. Is there a way to change permissions on a non-jailbroken iPhone. I don't really have a need to jailbreak, so I'd prefer not to mess around too much.
