incase slider black = love it...though the bottom piece is really tight and tough to remove.

Incase Slider - Matte Black. my 3G reluctantly handed it over to the new 3GS. But my old 3G got a nice new matte pink incase slider as it became my wife's new phone.

I think the incase keeps the phone well protected without increasing the size/form factor by much.

My bottom is tight too, but honestly, I like that as I would be afraid of losing it if it was loose. I only remove it when I use my doc. Charging with the cord connects with no issue.

Yeah, I want to put it on the dock at night..but I guess I'll just not slide it off and leave it...cause you are right, it fits perfectly with the normal cord.

Over on Mac Forums a guy has this slick Aluminium stand that the cord plugs in. Look in the iphone where people posted pictures of their new 3gS. If you have a MacBook in aluminium looks sharp.

I did not know if the screen protectors were out for the new screen. I had one on my 3G but heard the new screen needs a different type.

ended up picking up the incase slider today and its great i really like it alot. The screen protector i got from apple is nice but its made a little long i guess. I got it perfect on the ear speaker cutout and pressed all the way down pretty straight. Now when i put the incase bottom peice on it presses up on the protector causing 2 bubbles to form. Ill live with the bubbles for a while if they get worse i guess ill just ditch the screen protector.

I got the matte black incase slider and so far its the best case ive ever owned of any of my iphone cases which was about 4 of them...it makes the phone look really nice in it and is hard enough but light enough to protect it while it doesnt bulk up

That appears to be almost a twin of the Seidio "Innocase II Surface" - except that the "Innocase II Surface" includes a thin felt lining to prevent the case from scratching the iPhone. A nice touch. The Seidio also has an available matching holster that secures the cased phone to your hip or whatever - with the screen facing into another thin piece of felt to protect it from scratches.

Could you provide a link to the specific post or a post #. I could not find it. I saw a plastic stand, but not an aluminum one.
