Just took mine off still no scratches when looking at any light. Im getting tired of trying to get the top part off though. Bottom comes off easy but on mine the top i actually have to put a cloth and then use a sharpie to push it out a bit before i can pull it out, from the headphone hole. Im afraid im going to crack it or mess something up so i might start looking for a new case. after 3.5 weeks you would think it would get easier or something but still hard as ever to get off.

I have a white Incase Slider and what I did was cleaned my 3G and the case and put it on the phone. I squeezed the case gently and put pressure on it (as if it were in my pocket and it gets bumped or leaned on) then I took it out to find new scratches where the mold left seams on the inside of the case. Before I put it on my 3GS, I took a some fine grit sandpaper and sanded all of those ridges down...everywhere I could find one. Then after a quick rinse and wipe with a microfiber towel, I installed it on the 3GS. I did the same squeezing and pushing on the case then removed it and the back of my phone is still in pristine condition, unlike my 3G which just sold on eBay for $330.

Bottom line: If you're like me and you want to keep your electronics looking as new as possible, thoroughly inspect whatever you're putting it in before you regret it. I love my Slider.

Thats odd...Min'es reverse. The top slides off first and the bottom takes a firm grip on the phone and fingernails under the lip on the front of the phone.

I might find something thats easier to put on and take off. Mine is litterally impossible to get off with just sliding with your hands. I have very strong hands work with metal all day. I would like to use it naked at home then right before i leave just throw it in something easily put on and taken off that still protects nice. Guess the search is on again dangit.

Well I've bitten the bullet and have gone naked (well the iPhone has anyway!). I've still got the PS anti glare screen protector on, but the incase slider has been resigned to my jacket pocket. I'm in work so I figured if I can cope caseless on here then I can survive anywhere. I have to say that so far I'm loving how the phone feels without the added bulk of the case, I've had mine in the case almost since the first day I had it. I know scratches are likely but I really think the improved feel might actually be worth it, plus I'd anything majorly bad happens i've got insurance.

Still no scratches with my Seidio Innocase II. I prefer the felt liner to rubber rails for this reason.

I had ordered the pink Seidio Innocase II but then canceled it because I had heard it scratches the phone (bezel) & also that it bubbles the screen protector. I'm on my 3rd screen protector so I didn't want to ruin this one since it's on perfect. I really liked the idea that it had the felt liner to it.

I've given up on using screen protectors with this case. I think all slider cases will bubble a protector unless you trim the protector down a bit.

I've shelled out quite a bit of money on cases since the v1 release and have yet to find a case that doesn't scratch the bezel. The only thing I've not tried is a holster which aren't appealing to me.
