Default Question for those with the Invisible Shield

Any regrets on getting it for the iPhone? I'm considering buying one to replace the flip-down leather case I have now. I have one on my iPod, but I'm just not sure how the material would affect the touchscreen. I like the glossy feeling without anything on it

Take a look at this video review from Mobility Today. I think overall that the Invisible Shield is worth its cost. Trouble is putting it on.

I bought the full body shield from Invisible Shield for my iPhone. I only put the screen protector part on. It doesn't really have any texture to it, just gives the screen a slight "watery" look. It wasn't really that difficult to apply. Just remember, spray the skin, not the phone. And a little extra "application fluid" makes the job a little easier, as the skin slides around a little better for positioning. I put a little piece of paper towelin the headphone port to avoid any moisture getting in there and affecting the sensor pad that's in it. Just make sure the screen of your phone, and your hands are clean, and you're working in a dust free (or as close as you can get to it) area.

Does the watery look bother you at all? Does your finger slide alright?

The only time you notice it is when the screen is sleeping and there's some light glaring on it. Other than that, it's not really noticeable. Finger slides perfectly across the screen. It does give a slightly different feel than just the naked glass screen of the iPhone, but it's not bad. Your fingers don't stick to it, if that's what your asking. I've had my phone in my pocket with keys and stuff (while I was doing some construction work, I forgot the keys were in there, I would never do that on purpose...lol) and the shield does exactly what it says. In my opinion, it was a great investment. The only time I really notice a difference is when I'm sliding my finger across the screen and maybe my fingernail hits it or something. But even then, it doesn't stick or anything, it just feels funny. :-P I'm not sure if it's still working, but if you visit www.invisibleshield.com/showspecial the shields will show up half price in your shopping cart. Hope this helps!

EDIT : I just tried clicking on the link, I guess the special discount has expired. But they do it again every so often.

Aw rats, I was hoping I could still get it for $12. I guess I'll cough up the $25 and go for it then. I slid my finger across my shielded iPod, and it really doesn't feel TOO different than without it on. Hides fingerprints better too. My only regret is not getting one sooner, as my iPhone has a small chip on the back and the normal scratches on the bezel now.
