I am looking for a case that protects the iPhone really really good WITHOUT the grippiness of a silicon case.

that one is cool, but I heard that it's gonna cost over $60. i'm looking to spend no more than $40 on a case.

I ordered one and like it so far. It does add quite a bit of bulk to your iPhone, but the protection is really good. I also like the rubber nubs that come down through the hard case from the silicone case so it doesn't slide around on the surface you put it on. It works nice in a car. I don't think I'm going to keep it just because it adds a lot of bulk to the iPhone, plus Vaja just came out with a case that works with the dock.
