Default incase slider too tight? wrong part sliding?

So I'm using the incase slider on my 3GS and I noticed something weird...

When I want to remove the slider part on the bottom, it is actually the top part that is looser and comes off...even if I hold it relatively tight.

This is basically the opposite of what the case is meant to do. Am I doing something wrong? Do I bother getting a new one? Has anyone else experienced this?

Default

not sure maybe the rubber on the inside is a little thinner on yours. Mine is a ***** to get off on the top like litterally have to pull with everything my fingertips have. I took some advice and put a bit of chapstick on the rubber and that seemed to help. Take it back to apple if you bought it there and exchange it.
