eBay Silicone Case + Screen Protector Review!!

So I was tired of the screen scratching fear, so I bought a case and protector from eBay! Both of these items were $8.65 shipped to my door.

This is the exact combo I bought.



The Pros:
Upon opening the screen protector, I noticed that it is actually a fairly well made product. It comes with sheets on the front and back to avoide scratching during shipping, and is about 99% accurate to the size and placement of the screen + button. Installation of this thing was a breeze, and as most of them are, it is removable and replaceable. I have showed the phone to a few friends, and none of them noticed the little bugger until I told therem it was on there. The feel of the application is almost exactly that of the phone's touchpad itself. It is a bit less slippery at first, but after a few days of usage it has become a 'transparent' application (no pun intended). It even came with a microfiber cleaning cloth! This thing is almost fingerprint proof too. If any fingerprints do gather, they wipe off very easily with the provided cloth or a T-Shirt.

The case is something to marvel at as well. The holes for all of the buttons and speakers are cut flawlessly and exact. The feel of the case is great as well, provides a great grip as to avoid any accidental droppage. The silicone itself is also free of any imperfections, not what I expected. It's just a piece of rubber, so there's not much more to review on this.

The Cons:
The screen protector lacks the precision in the cuts that the case has, and the part around the speaker is a little bit larger than the unit, so it kind of gives it's presence away. Small bubbles also form around the speaker, due to the imperfection in the cut.

The case itself makes removal from a pocket a bit difficult due to the grippyness of the unit, which is good but bad. It doesn't fit as tight as I would like it to either, leaving parts of the silver trim vulnerable (maybe 1/16th of an inch, not very much at all). These parts can be covered by simply re-adjusting the case.

Overall I would say the Pros outweigh the cons downright and this is a great purchase for anyone looking for a cheap and versatile case. Not to mention a fairly sturdy one for the money.
