Exclamation Change of Heart for Seidio!

Not sure if many of you remember me, but I was sort of a case addict back when I joined up in June-September.
Here is one of my posts from an experience I had with Seidio...

Quote:
I just wanted to share my recent experience with Seidio's customer support.
I usually dont have a lot of success getting companies to realize how i feel about their product and how they could help me out.
Many companies have un-motivated people manning phones all day long and have not a care in the world about what you think, not Seidio.
In fact, i didnt even have to call them to get a great CS experience.
As you might know, myself and many others on this forum have the Seidio rubberized slim case. While i do consider it to be one of the best if not THE BEST case for the iPhone, it did have one minor flaw. My review can be seen here (shameless plug). Now before i get to that flaw, i just wanted to say first that Siedio took it upon themselves to join this board and answer many questions of those who were curious or had questions about their product.
Now to the flaw. Simply put, my case clicked. Now when i say this, i mean, after a few days of use and a few times taking the case off and on, i noticed a bit of a clicking sound when i picked my phone up by the corners or edges. It is simply a bit of play near the edges.
I realized that no other case on the market compared to Seidio's sexiness and slimness, none whatsoever.
So upon noticing this, a few people brought it up, and Seidio responded.
I recieved an email from Seidio asking for my contact and order info. Note: i didnt have to even directly contact them, they simply saw my discomfort and realized that a replacement was in order.
Within two days, i had confirmation that i was to recieve a replacement and they also wanted to see my case to do tests and observations on it. The replacement is great, but knowing that they stilll wanted to see my case in order to possibly improve the design is even better.
It made me feel really good that some companies still cared and one of them was Seidio, the make of my first chosen iPhone case, and still my favorite iphone case.
Please, do them a favor and check out their stuff at the EIP store or at www.seidio.com
And no, i do not work for seidio!
Well, now I have a change in heart, but not about the Customer Service...
My Slim Rubberized case is now 7 months old and last weekend... it began to fall apart!
One of the connectors from the front of the case to the back of the case fell off, and the sides are cracking a little.
I havent seen the Innocase yet, but i am very dissapointed with this product right now...

Mine's still holding up great. The post for the clip's hinge fell out, but that was my fault (I screwed with it) and a small brad fixed it in a snap. I hope Seidio made the short list of accessory manufacturers getting the 3G iPhone physical specs.

Flyer,

I'm sorry you're having problems with your rubberized case. If you'll send your order number and contact information to forum@seidio.com I'll see if there's anything I can do.

Thanks,

Alright well... I've had yet another change of heart.
I decided to stick with Seidio and try out the new Innocase.

WOW.
This case is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. Still extremely slim, and I like being able to touch the full face of my phone instead of parts of it being obstructed. The sliding snap is great. The case feels VERY sturdy and strong UNLIKE my old Super Slim Rubberized one that snapped on in the front.
I would recommend this case to anyone, as although I didnt like the Slim Rubberized, I absolutley LOVE the Innocase.

I've got 'em both, they both seem to be the same thickness except for the latch on the back of the Innocase. My Super Slim sit in a drawer somewhere at home.

Get one Dave, you'll do the same!

Cool thanks. I've recently had some rubbing-away of the rubberized coating on my superslim. I've sanded it down and it works for now, but should I need a replacement, I'll likely go with the innocase now.

Thanks for the info everyone...
