Carbon Fiber, good. I would hope that the carbon fiber filaments would not have problems with RF, but that might be wishful thinking.

The aluminum case however might render the phone unusable. It is the very reason that the bottom third of the back is plastic, so that the phone antennae will function. Then again, I see that on this very site, there is a supplier of an aluminum iPhone case. Hmmm.

Billet metal cases are common for Ipods. Just go into near any dune buggy or offroad auto supplier and see a variety of them designed to mount on the roll cages. I doubt you'll see ones that work with the phone, but maybe the iPod touch.

even on the ipod touch, there is a little corner of the same black plastic for the wifi antenna.

Cheaper is not my first priority. Quality is my first priority.
Someday you will learn the difference.

Heh, the belch is still $80. Not that much cheaper.

Not sure I'd buy from a company named belch anyway. I don't care if it's their god-given name, they should know better! It's like that computer company in the 80's, Wang...
