    Armband cases for the iPhone

I prefer keeping my iPhone in an armband, as opposed to in my pocket. So far, I've bought and tried 3 different armbands, as listed below.

1)The first armband case I bought, was the Belkin Sport Armband for iPhone: $29.95
    http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL...nplm=TN609LL/A

It rather quickly wore out, and began splitting at a glued seem joining 2 sections of the foam together. I had it replaced under warrantee at the AT&T store I bought it at, but the second one began doing something similar. I bought a 3rd one, knowing the 2nd was going to wear out quickly
again. I did that only so I wouldn't be without an armband, while I searched for another. My advice is to stay away from this armband case.

2)The second armband I purchased was the InCase Sports Case: $34.95

    or

I like the case, and it comes with a kit to apply a screen protector on the iPhone, which I did without problems. But, at the same time I was searching for and ordered this case, I also searched for and ordered another case, item #3 below.

3)My preference thus far, is the Xtrememac Sport Armband for iPhone: $29.95

    or

It is made very well, and seems to be the most durable of the 3 cases. Another reason I like this one, is that it lays more flatly against my arm, not protruding out as much as the InCase above. This prevents having my iPhone/armband catching on things as I move about. The only thing I don't like about this case is, that when you put the iPhone into the case (it's a snug fit) it often times catches and turns my "silent" button off. I have to make certain that button isn't off after I've inserted my iPhone into the case. But I can live with that.

I plan on trying out this one next: http://www.hdaccessory.com/servlet/Detail?no=284

I purchased the first one on your list at my local AT&T Store.
    HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

Poorly made and the functionality is not good.

On your list, it looks like the last one is the best bet. I may give that one a try in the near future.

I see in your post that you prefer an armband as opposed to a normal case. How do you accomplish this? How do you wear an armband with certain clothing (suits, long sleeve shirts, etc.)? Seems like an awkward way to have to constantly carry your IPhone. Just throw it in your pocket naked.

Ah! Good question. I don't wear suits anymore. 90% of the time, I wear only a short sleeve shirt. But, if I have to put something over that, say in the winter and I need to wear a coat or jacket, it will still be fine, as I use the Apple bluetooth, and merely press the little button on it to answer a call.
