Default Anyone using the Crystal Jacket by Power Support

Good evening.

Is anyone using the Crystal Jacket?

What do you think of it? Does it hold the phone securely or does it allow it to move around inside? Any info on whether it causes any scratches, etc. like the Belkin was mentioned to do?

Thanks.

I like it way better than the isee. Belt clip works great, much easier on and off, i still use bestskinever though, keeps it in there tight.

Yes I got a couple at the Apple Store when I bought my phone. I've been using them for my ipod screens for years. They work very well on the iPhone and are very sturdy and easy to apply.

Default well..

I think it moves around too much inside.

So, I bought the Invisible Shield full body skin, and now the Crystal case holds it tight and firm, but it's not easy to open for cleaning.

How do you remove the crystal jacket??? I haven't been able to find advice anywhere.

Never mind, I managed to pry it off; it is pretty difficult, but now that I've got a technique, I'm hoping the next time will be easier.

i think people are getting confused

jacket = case
film = screen protector (sticker that goes on screen)

Care to share your technique? I can really only manage to get the case to release the phone at random and I'm never really sure what I did to get it to do so!

Thanks!

I can't figure this out either. When I wrote the manufacturer, this was the response I got, but I can't figure it out, either:

if you look at the side of your i phone to the charger side, in the corner of the opening crack, use both hands to separate the jacket. Hint best way to remover it with out using force to jacket were it may crack it is to use a coin to the corner to prop it of.
I would really appreciate some details from those of you who have successfully done this!

Sorry for the slow response, I've been away.

My technique which has been working well for me is to pry the jacket open from the charger side of the phone.

With the phone face down I've put my thumb on one side of the charger opening and my index finger on the other side. I push the thumb up against the jacket's open edge and the index finger down against the other side of the jacket's edge and it pops open.

It's not easy, but at least I know it won't just pop off on it's own!

I've seen a few people post that the arms of the holster on this case
are prone to breaking.
