    Zoom app

I think it is called Zoom In. Anyone have it? Like it? I used it on my friend's phone and it seemed to work well, zooming in on things that were on the table near by. But I don't know how good that zoom would be for long distances.

I have ZoomCam and it works well so far. If the original picture is good, then the zoom version will look good. It is the only program I have tried though.

I see where this is the top paid App. I always thought digital zoom sucked, and only optical zoom mattered. I've been hesitant to purchase this for that reason. Any thoughts about this?

JW, that's exactly how I feel. But my thought is that if we're not going to get an optical zoom (obviously) better to have this than none at all. I just figured there would be a plethora of apps with this option.

True, there won't be any optical zoom with the 3GS but I would rather not even waste $1 if the digital zoom is blurry. My past experience with digital zoom on regular digital cameras was terrible.

That's because digital zoom is terrible. You can do a better job in PS by uprezing and cropping.

I am not comfortable with zoom which are basically smart zoom. They do not help much. It’s just they are cropping some of the pixel in the entire image.
