I love the jailbreak version on 1.1.4. Wonder if he'll go back "underground" now with 2.x.x...

I would imagine that's what will happen since the reason for removal is possible Copyright infringement.

Well I would hope. However, whereas he perhaps remained under the radar before with the jailbreak app, he may not be able to do that now that he's gotten "The Tetris Company"'s attention.

Good point although he thinks the claim is somewhat "thin".

Awww, that's too bad. I even did a review of it with suggestions. Oh well.

Is this a case where apple will be able to "kill" this app on our phones? Also will syncing the phone remove the app from the phone? It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

Also can this person be infringing on a copyright if they do not profit from it? The app was free if I remember correctly. I guess it is still intellectual property infringement, but just not sure what the damages would be.

I don't think if it's already on your phone you have anything to worry about. Phone saber was pulled a while ago and I still have it on my phone and i've synced numerous times.
