SKype on iPhone. How does it work???

Hi,
Can you guys tell me how are we charged for skype calls?

I know skype to skype, calls are free.
But I noticed I can dial normal landline or mobile number as well. I dont have any credit for it yet. Do you know if my phone minutes are being charged when I make such call or is it still free? I can't make that call unless there's WIFI.

Please let me know.

Are you using the skype app? If so your phone minutes arent being used your skype minutes are.

These rates depends I guess. They have some kind of whole package offer for the skype users. So to be sure you better get to their site and take a look at the packages.

Yes, I'm using the skype app for iphone. I dialled the number through it.... It doesn't make sense if i have no credits..

Have you put in a credit card anywhere? If so skype will probably charge that. If not I think you get some free creits with your account to test out dialing to land numbers.
