Pandora on Edge

I can't believe I've never really tried this on the go in my car (I suppose I thought "yeah, right"), but Pandora plays quite nicely over Edge while driving around Philly! I'm impressed.

Songs take about 10 seconds to buffer, but play continuously once they start. And the quality is perfectly fine for on the road.

Combine this with my new car mount ($5 shipped from Ebay), and I'm loving driving again!

oh hell yeah, dude. I used to do that all the time. had very few skips/pauses. ... but then hurricane ike destroyed my car so yeah....

As Ramesh has pointed out, I will not be able to receive calls or texts while pandoraing, but screw them. The music is the most important thing anyway.

Pandora always skips around for me when playing on EDGE.

It's not a nice car mount, to be honest. I had to rip out the foam to fit my phone with case in it. That meant I had to put on my own felt stoppers to hold the phone in. Plus, the double-sided tape was really not sticky, and the included vent clip was an absolute laugh. The iPhone is too heavy for those sorts of things, so I ended up just using epoxy and permanently attaching the mount to my dashboard. Now I'm happy

ain't that the truth. people shouldn't be talking or texting while driving anyways.

pandora streams ok as long as i'm on a major highway here... once i get off, it skips and whatnot.

good thing i have an ipod in the car too.

I recently tried pandora on edge while driving and it gave me so much buzzing (like when you have your phone next to speakers sometimes) and I stopped doing it

I love Pandora ... Wish all radio stations could be customizable ;-)
