Default Landscape email apps

All of a sudden there are three of them (Sideways, WideEmail, Touchtype), brand new in the app store.

Get em while you can before Apple deems them redundant to the built-in email app.

edit: Nevermind... I see they work in conjunction with the email app. One of them says it's been out since August.

Don't you think soon enough apple will have the native email application working in landscape mode? Seems like a waste of money to me...

Seems like a waste to use anything in landscape mode
You have to relearn how to type again
Every time I try to type with safari in landscape, I'm much slower

Much easier to type in landscape IMO... keys are spaced farther apart from each other.

I agree, I find that I type much much faster in Landscape Mode.

So... People can make a landscape email application but not a landscape texting application?

I think Apple didn't do it so that other people would do it. I think the only things Apple plans on doing are the features they are forbidding at this point (e.g. turn-by-turn voice, system-wide copy & paste, etc.).

Click on "Map" and you'll see the GPS location of each photo along with a tag of the current weather conditions.
The more I go "street hiking," more photos will be added so keep checking!

I've seen apps able to e-mail within the app itself but I haven't seen an app that you can SMS straight from the app. That may be the problem. Of course, I haven't tried every app so correct me if I'm wrong.

I think the ball is in Apple's court as far as landscape texting. But then again, aren't we trying to get away from SMS/MMS and into IMs and e-mails?

Well I know Steve thinks that way about MMS and e-mails, but he better not start thinking that way about texting!
