Hello,
First off, I want to say that this is by far the best forum for the iphone I have seen! I just bought my iphone 3g about 2 months ago and downloaded a bunch of apps. I upgraded to OS 3.0 and it seems like a bunch of them are gone INCLUDING my favorite one pandora. Is something wrong with my iphone? Pandora is showing up in itunes but when I sync it nothing happens. Also when I hold a app button to delete applications, there are a bunch of blank apps. Is that at all related or normal? Also, my phone was jailbroke when I upgraded. Thanks in advance for you help!![]()
Sorry I really need help!!!!

Welcome to EIC! I think there is some issues with Pandora. I noticed it this afternoon when i tried to use it on my 3GS. It took a long time for me to log on. But it eventually worked. I have not tried using since then. I was talking to a couple at dinner this evening and they were talking about having some problems with Pandora as well.
As for your issue. I'm not too sure what it could be. Maybe try reinstalling it from the app store?

Well a couple things I would note. First you made sure to actually check the box next to Pandora in iTunes to make it sync correct?
Also, since it was jailbroken before you updated, it might not be a bad idea to start from scratch (set up the phone as new) to remove all the jailbreak artifacts. Sometimes those can have interesting side effects on new OS upgrades.

First of thank you for your response and advice.
I definitely have it checked in itunes. OKay, I have a few more questions. Sorry, I am still kind of newer at this. I am guessing since I am going to restore the phone as new, I shouldn't use my backup file. If that is the case, is there anything that I should do in my itunes? The only thing that I am concerned about losing is my purched apps. I can import my contacts through yahoo. Thank you again for your help and advice.
Nope, just take a screenshot of what apps you have, so you can remember all of the ones you need to download again. You will also be able to download your purchased apps again, without paying for them. You'll click on the app, put in your iTunes password, and you'll get a message stating "This app was already purchased. Download again?" or something to that effect. Just click OK, and you're all set!
