Default Does this option exist?

hello everybody,
Does anyone have an idea about any App for the camera that enables you to have Micro or Close up pictures? i used to have nokia with Multi options for taking pictures including the Close up one. i had the chance to picture plenty of texts i came across and read them later on. Now i find it really hard with iphone cams which has no options or moods of photography.
Thanks in advance..

Uhh, I see you have the 3GS so I'm a little confused. This is technically already built in to the 3GS camera by utilizing the tap-to-focus. I have no trouble at all take close-up pictures with my 3GS. Just how close are you trying to get to the object you're taking a picture of?? As far as other camera options, there are lots and lots of camera apps available in the store. Search "camera" or "photo" or picture" in the app store...

Yes. What you are talking about is the focus of the lens which is somehow similar to the auto focus in some cameras and mobile devices. The Close-up mood (sometimes called Micro) is used for capturing intricate detail of small objects. Such a kind of picture is usually taken with this mood in a distance between 10 to 50 cm. Not only clear picture of such objects you get, but also get clearer when zooming the taken picture. when you get a picture of a whole page text, it's so clear that you can easily read it just as if you were holding the original text in you hands.
about the camera apps; yeah there are lots and lots of them. and that's why i'm asking : ) , instead of buying one and then finding that it's got no Close-up option.
So i'm just wondering if any of these apps was proved to be good at this , or if someone knows an app that has this option.
anyway ... thanks a lot .

You do not need any application for the camera. There is zoom technology available in all iphones. According to my knowledge I still did not hear about any kind of iphone camera application.

I'm pretty sure you mean "macro shot" - and to accomplish that all you need to do is put your phone close to the subject, tap on your screen where you'd like it to focus, and voila!

I also think that was meant "macro shot" by him. You are quite right on your way Ramesh. Keep it up.

I think software can't create the ability of taking MICRO or CLOSE UP pictures. Because it is a hardware function. I wish oneday we will be able to use this function by software.
