Do you love beer? Do you love finding great specials on beer?

So I just found this new app in the iPhone app store called "HappyHoured". It's a very well designed app with a great concept. Basically, it's a user submitted database of bars/restaurants and whatever specials they have for a particular day of the week. This includes drink specials, appetizer specials, or whatever else!

Only problem is that, like I said, it's user submitted information. We all know how lazy most people are. Because of this, the database of bars and specials isn't very big especially in smaller cities.

Let's help get this app off the ground. It would be extremely useful if people would just help out. I've already started adding bars in my town (Pensacola, FL). Plus, I travel to Pittsburgh a lot so I'll be adding some from there as well.

I know this app would definitely come in handy when I'm traveling to a new city, much like "Yelp" has.

It's absolutely free so you have nothing to lose. Just check it out.

BTW, I am in no way affiliated with the app or it's creator. Just think it could be a great app that could really come in handy.

i saw this app, sadly its only for a handful of cities

That was what I thought at first also. But you can add places from any city. The cities that they list in the description are cities that the app developers help add to (Boston, New York, etc. Your typical big city places).

good call. i will have to check it out tonight. i am from cleveland though thats why i thought it was limited because cleveland is considered a big city

I'm also surprised Cleveland isn't one of the ones they help contribute to. Although a lot of the bigger cities that they don't help with already have quite a few user entries (I was playing around earlier looking at different cities).

It could take a lot of work/time, but if enough people get behind this app and help contribute, it would be worth it.

This is a great application. Me and my friends, most of us, love beer. We do use this application to know every update about beer market and enjoy a lot. Thanks for the post.
