I see. The way I was told was that it also sent on SMS natively. I think I may still get this app. I appreciate the helpfulness of this forum. I have been looking for a descent (helpful) community for a couple weeks and I think I have found it here!

i think ill just wait until someone like pairlingo moilechat or IM+ implement the push style beejive has... 16 bucks is way too much to be able to use free services (yahoo, google, aim, msn)...just doesnt make sense...i have no problem paying for apps 16 of my 30 apps are paid but $16.00 to use aim is a it ridiculous...plus real push should be out soon so its pointless this to release this this late if they released this 4 months ago it might have had a better chance with that price tag

ah I love this app! I loved it on the blackberry and so glad it's here. didn't like the price tag but it's worth it! i tried having notifications sent as texts, works really fast and immediate... just don't think i need it that bad

works well, wish i didn't waste the money on mobilechat because i've had that for months and never once actually got it to work.

the way to avoid putting up the 15 bucks is to have your AIM program send you an SMS when you are not on the home computer, then when you are on the road people can send you a SMS viz aim then when you get that just log in to the FREE aim app on the iphone, and boya, there you go

I love their messenger for Blackberry, however it is allowed to run in the background on that platform. Not so worth it for me on the iPhone, not until they get push services running correctly.

im sorry but I think aim sucks... I hate aim with a passion. and not everyone uses aim. I use msn and sometimes even yahoo. but never aim.
but I do have a question though, why is it that it seems like all EVERYONE around here uses aim? it can't be a coincidence. can it?

but yeah, I don't mean anything mean by that, it just the way I feel and I kinda get tired of hearing aim this and aim that and just had to say something.

Agreed, they need push services to make this app complete. I still bought beejiveIM now though but since upgrades are free for the foreseeable future, I'm happy.
