With all their work put into the app I still cannot see the $16 priceline being justified. Thats borderline ridiculous for an IM app.

I have to admit, the UI and features and everything seem perfect, if it was just a reasonable cost I would totally jump to buy it!

Let's conspire to hold off purchase until it has a "free for a limited time" or "$.99 for a limited time."

I'd get it then even though I don't IM that much.

I am thinking of holding out for it too. I am hoping they do that. I should show them this thread and the one over at BGR how it seems to much. There are no reviews yet. I bet there would be a lot if they hadn't changed the way about how expensive it is - :P

Yeah. They should look at what happened to Cro-Mag Rally. Started out at $9.99. Then BETTER games came out at the same price. Had to drop price. More racing games that were even better and cheaper. Another price drop. Then Asphalt 4 came out and The Need For Speed announced. Price down to $1.99 (an $8 difference) and is now one of the most popular paid apps.
